GUARD
Just how long can you guard something you don’t want to lose? It gets tiring. It leaves you feeling drained. How many times we rely on human efforts and yet not see the fruits of our labour at the end of the day.
Best to let go, although it’s human instinct to want to control every aspect of our lives and the relationships in it. I call that being a control freak. Logically though, why would I want to control something that I can’t quite fully understand, nor have the full confidence that everything will turn out the way I plan? That’s why I choose to leave it to the One who understands the universe inside-out, because he created it. Most of all, because he loves me.
So I choose this day, to let go and be free. No more burden because it’s no longer mine, but his whose yoke is light.
